GUIDED TOUR OF THE CHATEAU'S UNDERGROUND PASSAGEWAYS AND TOWERS.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays* at 4.30 p.m., from April to September.
*except on 15th August (Assumption) and on 20th-21st September (National Heritage Days)
Visitors have access to an exclusive visit of the underground passageways and towers of the medieval fortress, just under the Renaissance Royal House. Thus, at the foot of the château¡¯s walls, they reach the Garçonnet Tower, built in the XVth century by order of Louis XI, from where they can reach the Lys Room, formerly a refectory for the guards. From here, they follow the rampart walk as far as the ditches of the old watch tower and then past the rooms containing lapidary fragments. The visitors then make their way through the maze of underground passages to the heart of the Minimes Tower. Accessible to visitors over the age of 7, in good physical condition. Visits in French organised on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 4.30 p.m., from April to September. Departures in small groups formed on site, with a maximum of 18 visitors.
Terms of the visit: -Guided tour of one hour in French, without prior booking. It is recommended to be present at the ticket office 30 minutes before the departure. Prior bookings are possible, one week before the date of the visit, confirmed on receipt of payment.

-Individual visitors grouped together on site, maximum 18 people, from the age of 7. -Visit requiring a good physical condition and suitable clothing (closed shoes, no heels, country-style clothing). The presence of steps may make it difficult for some people to follow the tour. -Some passageways are not well lit. -Departure from the ticket office.
Admission fee for individual visitors: Adult 13.5 ˆ, student 12 ˆ, child (from 7 to 14) 9.8 ˆ. This includes the guided tour of the underground passageways and free access to the Château after the tour. |
