VISITS AND ACCESSIBILITY
Specific visit for those with reduced mobility.
The château is a former Medieval fortress situated on a rocky spur overlooking the Loire. A classified Historic Monument, it does not always offer access facilities that correspond to modern criteria.
This is why reduced mobility visitors are required to visit with an accompanying adult. However, for several years the château has been engaged in a policy of improvements and services designed to increase accessibility for disabled visitors.
Since March 2012, the château has held the national ‘Accessible Tourism’ mark for hearing and mentally impaired visitors, and since 2017 for physically and visually impaired visitors.
