Heritage professions of excellence

During 20 months, the best French craftsmen will intervene to restore it to its full brilliance. This work, unprecedented in its scope for more than 150 years, is an opportunity to shed light on the professions of heritage preservation.

Craftsmen’s Lodges

In order to facilitate your discovery of the various trades at work on the site of the chapel, spaces have been specially arranged. Decorators, stone cutters, carpenters, stained glass artists…these lodges will provide a showcase for the techniques and tools used by craftsmen. Free access, without supplement in addition to the entrance ticket to the castle.

Educational fresco

A vast fresco, with free access, retraces the great hours of the chapel and presents to you, in a few key elements, the work carried out on the chapel.

HistoPad

During these times, HistoPad tablets will allow you to discover and explore the building using augmented reality technology. These tablets, included in the entrance ticket to the castle, are given to you on your arrival.
