Invited by King François I, Leonardo da Vinci spent the last three years of his life at Amboise. He carried out a number of projects on the king's request. In particular he organised some prestigious events for the royal court.
Discover the life and talent of Leonardo during your visit to the two symbolic sites in Amboise: the Royal Château, residence of King François I and the Clos Lucé château, the Italian master's final dwelling place.
Collections at the Royal Château are now accessible to visitors with a disability (audio-video guide, with no extra charge)
