On July 7, the castle will have the pleasure of hosting a “Ramdam* stopover”
*Meetings of Music, Dance and Minstrel Art Lovers
Come and enjoy a picnic with a view of the Loire from the park of the Royal Castle of Amboise while learning about Renaissance dances.
About twenty dancers, singers or instrumentalists (flutes, oboes, bassoons, bagpipes, harpsichord, violins, viols, lutes, guitars, percussion, etc.) come together for one long weekend a year, on sunny days, to go on stage in proposing a ball.
The Ramdam of the COM allows the meeting of artists distant from each other (Ligerians, Tours, Bretons, Normans, Ile-de-France and even Iberians) but all passionate about old music and dance.
The dancing master will be Robin Joly, along with members of the following ensembles:
- Chorea Ficta (CF), supervised by Nadia Boissard and Robin Joly.
- Vocal ensemble Compagnones Studiantes (CSC), supervised by Gwinnevire Quenel.
- Instrumental ensemble Compagnones Studiantes (CSI), supervised by Robin Joly and other companions.
- Ensemble of Renaissance Veuzes (Veuze), framed by Thierry Bertrand.
The first three depend on the Compagnones Studiantes association and the fourth seals a little more the partnership of the Veuze Sonneurs Federation with the Outre Mesure Company. Other students of Ana Yepes (Paris VII, Paris XI and Ensemble Donaïres), Anne Dumont, Pascale Boquet, etc. are regularly associated with these ensembles.
Entry from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Ball from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
